By Olivier, project manager at Flare Custom · Updated June 2026. A successful kitting means apparel that participants keep and wear again — and therefore a brand that keeps living on after the event. Here is the method, with Flare Custom, a European brand of custom equipment made in Bulgaria (EU).
A giveaway has a fixed date. Allow 2 to 4 weeks of production once the proof is approved (or express), plus design and delivery: start the project well in advance, especially in peak season. See lead times.
The worst memory of any giveaway is a t-shirt that does not fit. Plan a realistic — and generous — size split, based on the size guide. For large giveaways, keep a margin on the common sizes.
Estimate the number of participants and keep a small reserve for last-minute additions and VIPs. As pricing steps down by tier, grouping everything into one order keeps the cost down. See pricing and group order.
A strong visual and well-placed partner logos are the difference between a t-shirt that gets thrown away and one that gets worn. Sublimation allows unlimited colours and edge-to-edge printing. See logos & sponsors.
Have it delivered wherever it is useful: your premises, your client's, or straight to the event venue, in unbranded packaging if you are reselling the service. See neutral delivery and event agencies.
From idea to jersey made in Europe — from 1 piece. You approve a proof before production.
