By Olivier, project manager at Flare Custom · Updated in June 2026. The most common mistake on a team order is not the design: it's the sizes. A jersey that is too tight or too big spoils the overall look. Here is a simple method to get it right, with Flare Custom, a European brand of custom sportswear made in Bulgaria (EU).
Because players are often asked "what's your size?" and everyone answers based on their habits (and their other brands). Yet fits vary. The winning move: rely on measurements, not memories.
Start with our size guide : it gives the precise conversions so you can choose without guesswork. Pass it on to every player (or to parents for younger members) and ask for the size that matches their measurements, not how they feel it fits.
For team orders, the most reliable approach is still trying them on. A set of size samples can circulate around the group so everyone confirms their own before finalising the order. The terms (shipping, deposit) are set out in the quote, and this step prevents the majority of mistakes.
A team often means several body shapes. Our kits come in children's and women's cuts, with the same design as the rest of the club. Check carefully which cut suits each member. See maillots & tenues enfant et tenues de sport femme.
Very small and very large sizes exist and are catered for: flag them right from the quote so we can include them cleanly in your order. Better to know in advance than at handout time.
Once the sizes are collected, they go into your order and you approve everything (with the associated names and numbers) on the proof. This is the moment to check it all one last time: after approval, production starts.
From idea to jersey made in Europe — from 1 piece. You approve a proof before production.
