By Olivier, project manager at Flare Custom · Updated June 2026. Equipping a club with custom jerseys can feel intimidating the first time. In reality, the journey is well mapped out and simple. Here, step by step, is how it works at Flare Custom, the European brand of custom sportswear made in Bulgaria (EU) — from the first idea to the arrival of the boxes, from a single piece.
Compare manufacturers on verifiable criteria, not just on the price of one jersey: minimum order, lead times, included customisation, fabrics, volume pricing, approval, after-sales service, place of manufacture and tools to manage several teams. Here, criterion by criterion, is the question to ask and what Flare Custom offers.

| Criterion | The question to ask | What Flare Custom offers |
|---|---|---|
| 01Minimum order | What minimum, at launch and for a reorder? | From 1 piece, at launch and during the season. Each team's design is kept and can be reordered identically. |
| 02Lead times | How long after proof approval? Is there an express option? | 2 to 4 weeks of production after proof approval, then about 6 working days of delivery in Europe. An express option is possible, from 72 hours to 2 weeks depending on the product and quantity, on request; the surcharge is shown on the quote. |
| 03Customisation | Are colours, logos, names and numbers charged extra? | Full sublimation: unlimited colours, logos, sponsors, names and numbers included, at no extra cost. Free 3D configurator with AI design. |
| 04Fabrics | Which fabrics, for which use? | For jerseys, two main fabrics: Kinetic 130 (130 g interlock knit, dense and opaque) and Aero 140 (140 g micro-perforated mesh, highly breathable). Other fabrics depending on the product and sport: AirKnit, Pro Mesh, StretchCore, ThermoGrip, Softshell, Track Pro, SwimCore, Premium Piqué, Cotton Touch… |
| 05Volume pricing | What are the tiers counted on? Are prices public? | 8 tiers (1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250 and 500 pieces), per product and per identical design; prices excl. VAT shown online; −5% on full kits from 5 tops and 5 bottoms. |
| 06Approval | Will we see the exact result before production? | Proof within 48 h*, with 2 to 3 rounds of changes included depending on the design package. Nothing is produced without approval. |
| 07After-sales service | What happens if there is a defect? | Manufacturing defect or non-conformity with the approved proof: we review the request and offer a solution, for example remaking the piece. |
| 08Place of manufacture | Where is it made, and by which company? | In our workshop in Bulgaria, in the European Union. Flare Custom is the brand of OLB Sports OOD, a Bulgarian company. |
| 09Several teams | How do we manage several teams, sizes and payments? | One design kept per team; group order where each player pays their share from their own link; an online club shop, free for the club, where members order and pay themselves. |
| 10Payment | What payment terms? | 100% with the order, by card or bank transfer, for every customer. Any other schedule only on request, after reviewing the file. |
| 11Customer reviews | What do customers say? | 4.8/5 from more than 250 reviews collected from our customers; more than 300 customers: clubs, associations, federations, agencies, companies and individuals. See the reviews. |

This table describes our own terms, which you can check on this site (T&Cs, lead times, prices, warranty). Ask every manufacturer you consult the same questions and compare the written answers.
First things first: which sport, how many pieces, which sizes, and what kind of design do you have in mind? The more precise you are, the more accurate the quote. Think about the useful extras too (names and numbers, club crest, sponsors). Every sport has its own page (for example football, basket, handball, volleyball) and its “club & team” page.
Three routes, depending on where you are starting from: build it online in the AI-powered 3D configurator ; start from an AI-generated visual, which our studio redraws in vector; or hand the whole design over to our design studio. The result: a consistent club identity that works from the youngest players to the seniors, across every team.
Before anything is made, you receive a proof: an exact visual of your jersey. You check everything — spelling of names, numbers, logo positions, colours — then approve it. Nothing goes into production without your sign-off. See how it works and the ordering.
The order is paid on approval, by card or bank transfer. This is what triggers the start of production. (No payment = no manufacturing.)
Allow 2 to 4 weeks of manufacturing once the proof is approved, or 72 hours to 2 weeks on the express option depending on the product and the workshop's workload. Sublimation is built into the fibre, so the colours never flake. See lead times.
Your order is shipped with tracking. You receive your pieces ready to wear, and you can reorder at any time in the same design for a new recruit.
The jersey is an ideal advertising space: many clubs fund all or part of their kit through partner logos. See sponsor funding.
For the start of the school year or a new championship, launch the project well in advance: creation and production take time, and getting started early is how you avoid the stress.
In four steps: a quote within 48 h, a design (configurator or studio), an approved proof, then production in 2 to 4 weeks in our European workshop. No minimum, kids' and adults' sizes on the same order, and reorders from 1 piece.
