Ce short reprend la construction robuste à 2 panneaux et lui ajoute un empiècement spandex à l'entrejambe : la pièce extensible absorbe l'écartement des cuisses sans tirer sur les coutures, là où un short classique finit par lâcher. En Rugby Pro Performance — le même tissu que le maillot —, sublimé aux couleurs du club, il forme la tenue complète avec le maillot de rugby.
In rugby, the shorts take as much as the player: lunges in the defensive line, the scrum drive position, wide footing on the ground and at the maul. These shorts keep the robust 2-panel construction and add a spandex gusset at the crotch: the stretch panel absorbs the spread of the thighs without pulling on the seams, where classic shorts eventually give way. In Rugby Pro Performance — the same fabric as the jersey — sublimated in the club colours, they make up the complete kit with the rugby jersey.

The stretch gusset follows the movement where the shorts work hardest: lunges, drives and ground play. The fabric does not restrict and the crotch seams no longer take the force of wide footing — the most common failure point on contact shorts. It is the comfort option recommended for players who play match after match and train in between. These shorts have no pockets: a side opening would be the first thing to give way in a tackle, and nothing should catch on contact.
