A fight short is judged on the room it leaves. This one is cut wide through the thigh and built from two panels: the only seams run down the centre front and centre back, and each side is a continuous fold. No side seam means no rubbing point on footwork, slips and guard changes. The hems are closed and flat-stitched all the way round — nothing for a glove to catch.
In MMA, loose shorts turn into a handle the moment the fight goes to the ground. These fitted shorts, inherited from vale tudo, cling to the thigh: cut from compressive StretchCore 240 knit (240 g/m², 4-way stretch), they follow every guard, every level change and every high kick without ever catching or squeezing in the wrong place.
The elastic waistband is about 10 cm tall, built from several stitched rows with an inner drawcord: it holds through the whole round, with no pulling it back up between exchanges. At the centre front, a smooth rectangle is left clear for marking — that is where the gym or fighter name goes.
A wide flat elastic waistband, like a second skin: the shorts stay in position through sprawls, scrambles and the clinch, with no readjusting between exchanges. The flat seams remove rub points, even in two-hour sessions.
