Lausanne is the "Olympic capital": the International Olympic Committee and many international sports federations have their headquarters there. Day to day, it is also a hilly student city, where people run, swim and ride between the lake and the upper town.
As everywhere in Switzerland, clubs in Vaud are associations run by volunteers and affiliated to their federation. University sport is also very present, with its own teams and competitions.
Between lake and hills, the climate is milder by the water and cooler on the heights. For triathlon and trail running, choose light, quick-drying fabrics; for winter, a warmer layer.
4-way stretch compression knit with a second-skin feel.
