Flare Custom or SubliSport for a cycling club: the honest comparison

We are judge and party, so let’s say it straight away. This comparison therefore sticks to public facts, collected on 19 October 2026 from sublisport.fr and from our own site, with a link to each source. Good news for comparing: both show their prices excluding VAT. Where SubliSport is better, we say so. Where a piece of information is not published, we say that too.

How to read it. Both price lists exclude VAT and are per identical design, but their tiers differ: SubliSport uses 10-24, 25-49, 50-74, 75-99, 100-149 and 150+ pieces; we use 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250 and 500 pieces. The jerseys are not identical (cut, fabric, zip): compare the product pages too. SubliSport prices are those of its product pages on 19/10/2026.

Prices

Who is cheapest? It depends on the quantity and the item

As both price lists exclude VAT, the comparison is direct: same basis, same VAT depending on your country.

  • From 1 to 9 pieces, only Flare Custom produces. SubliSport asks for 10 pieces per item. With us, a single Club SS jersey costs €84.54 excl. VAT, and €71.55 per piece for 3 to 4 pieces: dearer per piece, but possible for a new rider or a reorder.
  • Entry-level jersey: a tie at 10 pieces, then we are cheaper. At 10 pieces: €39.75 excl. VAT with us, €39.92 for the Vars. At 25 pieces: €31.80 against €38.72. At 50: €30.21 against €37.52. At 100: €27.03 against €35.13.
  • Bib shorts: SubliSport is cheaper below 20 pieces. At 10 pieces: €58.25 excl. VAT for the Glandon, €69.88 for our Bib Club. From 20 pieces it reverses: at 25 pieces €55.90 against €56.50, at 50 €53.10 against €54.76, at 100 €47.52 against €51.26.
  • Full kit (entry-level jersey + bib shorts). At 10 kits: €98.17 excl. VAT at SubliSport, €109.63 with us: SubliSport is cheaper. At 25 kits: €87.70 with us against €95.22. At 50: €83.31 against €92.28.
  • To add on their side as on ours: delivery (free at SubliSport from €500 excl. VAT, charged by us depending on the destination) and, unless you design it yourself in the configurator, the design (free at SubliSport from 50 garments, package from €50 excl. VAT with us).
Our strengths

What sets us apart, and can be checked

From 1 piece

A rider joining mid-season, a torn jersey, a test before launching the series: everything can be ordered from 1 piece, in the same design. SubliSport asks for 10 pieces per item.

A 3D configurator boosted by AI

Send a photo: the AI reproduces your design. Or write your instructions: it creates the design. Team mode shows each rider’s name and number, and a built-in editing tool fixes your artwork and logos. A design made in the configurator carries no design fee.

Cheaper from 20 jerseys

From 20 pieces, our entry-level jersey costs less than the Vars, and our public price list goes down to €20.67 excl. VAT from 500 pieces. SubliSport’s public price list stops at the 150-piece tier.

Kids sizes and triathlon pieces

Our cycling jerseys come in kids sizes from 4 to 14, handy for a youth cycling school. The range also includes skinsuits, trisuits, 3/4 bib knickers and leg warmers.

Their strengths

And where SubliSport is better

A comparison that never proves the other side right is not a comparison. Here are SubliSport’s advantages, and what we have to set against them when we have something.

  • Human support. SubliSport can be reached by phone, live chat and WhatsApp Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and announces one contact person from brief to delivery and a designer for custom design. With us, everything is in writing, with a reply within 48 working hours. Our answer: writing keeps a record of every choice (sizes, names, colours), and nothing goes into production without an approved proof. But if you want to talk to someone on the phone, SubliSport is better placed.
  • Lead time. SubliSport announces 2 to 3 weeks of production after the proof on its product pages (3 to 4 weeks’ delivery on its cycling page), against 4 to 5 weeks of production with us for cycling. It also offers faster production for a fee; we have no standard express on this kit, only faster production on request depending on quantity. For a tight date, it may be faster.
  • Design and delivery free above a threshold. SubliSport offers the design from 50 garments and delivery from €500 excl. VAT. With us, a design made in the 3D configurator is included; reworking artwork by our team and delivery are charged.
  • Bib shorts in small runs and large sizes. From 10 to 19 bib shorts, the Glandon is cheaper than our Bib Club, and SubliSport’s cycling pages go up to XXXXL (ours: XS to 3XL).
  • Recycled fabrics. SubliSport announces 80% of technical fabrics in recycled polyester. We offer recycled fabric on some products, on request, without claiming more.

Is Flare Custom a good choice compared with SubliSport for a cycling club?
It depends on what the club expects. As collected on 19/10/2026: Flare Custom produces from 1 piece, in Bulgaria (EU), with a 3D configurator boosted by AI, and its entry-level cycling jersey costs €39.75 excl. VAT at 10 pieces and €31.80 at 25 pieces, against €39.92 and €38.72 for SubliSport’s Vars jersey. SubliSport asks for 10 pieces per item, but offers more human support (phone, chat, WhatsApp, one contact person and a designer), a shorter announced lead time (2 to 3 weeks of production after the proof, against 4 to 5 weeks at Flare Custom for cycling), free design from 50 garments and free delivery from €500 excl. VAT. For a club that wants to talk on the phone or is in a hurry, SubliSport is better placed; for small quantities, single-piece reorders or a jersey budget from 20 pieces, Flare Custom is a better fit.
Flare Custom or SubliSport: which is cheaper for cycling jerseys?

For bib shorts, SubliSport is cheaper from 10 to 19 pieces (€58.25 against €69.88 excl. VAT), Flare Custom from 20 pieces. Delivery and design are added according to each one’s terms.

SubliSport. It can be reached by phone and live chat Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and by WhatsApp, and announces one contact person and a designer for custom design. What are the production lead times?
SubliSport announces 2 to 3 weeks of production after proof approval on its product pages, delivery within 3 to 4 weeks on its cycling page and possible faster production for a fee. Flare Custom announces 4 to 5 weeks of production after proof approval for cycling kit, then about 6 working days of delivery in Europe, with no standard express on this kit (faster production possible on request, depending on quantity).
