Six points decide whether league kit succeeds, and all of them can be checked before ordering: the ability to give each club its own identity on a shared base; the minimum order, which governs repeat orders mid-season; how the budget is built and at what level the price tiers apply; lead times measured against the competition calendar; the approval process, club by club; and whether there is a single point of contact on the manufacturer's side.
Le piège classique est de ne comparer que le prix unitaire d'un maillot. Sur une ligue, ce qui coûte cher n'est presque jamais le maillot : c'est le club oublié dans le comptage, le joueur qui arrive en janvier, la commande minimale qui interdit un réassort de trois pièces, et le retard qui tombe la semaine de la première journée.
The classic trap is to compare only the unit price of a jersey. Across a league, what costs money is almost never the jersey: it is the club left out of the count, the player who joins in January, the minimum order that rules out a top-up of three pieces, and the delay that lands in the week of the opening fixture.
Une ligue veut de la cohérence sans uniformiser : le même modèle de maillot, la même coupe et le même tissu pour tous, mais les couleurs, le logo et les sponsors de chaque club. En sublimation intégrale, cette déclinaison ne coûte rien de plus : les couleurs sont illimitées et sans surcoût, et changer une couleur d'un club à l'autre ne change ni le prix ni le délai. Une ligue de douze clubs peut donc partir d'un modèle unique et sortir douze tenues distinctes.
A league wants consistency without uniformity: the same jersey model, cut and fabric for everyone, but each club's colours, logo and sponsors. In full sublimation, that variation costs nothing extra: colours are unlimited and free, and changing a colour from one club to the next changes neither price nor lead time. A league of twelve clubs can therefore start from a single model and end up with twelve distinct kits.
C'est le critère le plus sous-estimé. Un fabricant qui impose un minimum de dix ou vingt pièces vous convient très bien au lancement, quand chaque club commande son lot — et vous bloque dès le mois de novembre, quand un club a besoin de deux maillots pour deux nouveaux licenciés.
This is the most underestimated criterion. A manufacturer imposing a minimum of ten or twenty pieces suits you perfectly at launch, when each club orders its batch — and blocks you by November, when a club needs two jerseys for two new members.

Prices drop in quantity tiers — that is the rule with every manufacturer. The real question, on a league, is what the quantity is counted on: each club's order separately, or the combined volume. The gap between the two runs into thousands of euros across a whole league.

Comptez environ cinq à six semaines entre la demande de devis et la livraison : 48 heures ouvrées pour le devis, la validation du bon à tirer, puis deux à cinq semaines de production selon le produit et le volume, et environ six jours ouvrés de transport. Pour une urgence, une option express est possible sur demande, dès 72 heures selon le produit et la quantité.
League kit is planned backwards, starting from the opening fixture. Allow around five to six weeks between the quote request and delivery: 48 working hours for the quote, proof approval, then two to five weeks of production depending on the product and volume, and around six working days in transit. For emergencies, an express option is available on request, from 72 hours depending on the product and quantity.
Sur une ligue, ajoutez le temps de collecte des tailles et des effectifs auprès des clubs : c'est presque toujours l'étape la plus longue, et elle ne dépend pas du fabricant. Lancez-la avant même de demander le devis.
On a league, add the time it takes to collect sizes and squad lists from the clubs: it is almost always the longest stage, and it does not depend on the manufacturer. Start it before you even request the quote.
Rien n'est produit sans bon à tirer validé. Sur une ligue, cela veut dire un bon à tirer par club, chacun validé par la personne qui engage le club — pas un accord global qui ferait porter à la ligue la responsabilité d'une erreur de couleur sur le maillot d'un club.
Nothing is produced without an approved proof. On a league, that means one proof per club, each approved by the person who commits that club — not a blanket sign-off that would leave the league carrying the blame for a colour error on one club's jersey.
